Chrome 74 was released for Mac, Linux, and Windows a few days back with Android looking forward to the update. Now finally, the Chrome 74 for Android released the world’s most-used mobile OS.
Here, the interesting feature to note is that the “Data Saver” has been renamed to “Lite mode.” It appears in Blue color next to the URL. There is up to a 60% reduction in data usage.
In addition, the browser now respects accessibility settings such as removing animations in transitions. So anyone who does not like the softness between the windows and parallax system in the scrolling can use the quiet Chrome.
The position of the translation bar is at the bottom and appears when Google seems necessary. However, it presents itself more discreetly from now on, occupying much less space.
Lastly, Omnibar’s simple ringtones now feature the current URL with an edit button in the suggestion of addresses, making it easy for anyone to cut or share a piece of the link.
The Chrome 74 stable update was released a few days back with the option to activate the “dark mode“, one of the most anticipated features for the browser for Windows.
