Huawei P Smart Z, the First Pop-Up Camera Phone from Huawei Leaked with Images and Specifications

A Dutch technology blog called Mobielkopen via @RODENT950 has shared what appears to be Huawei’s first pop-selfie camera phone called the Huawei P Smart Z on its website. Alongside the images of Huawei’s first pop-selfie camera phone P Smart Z, the blog has also shared several specifications details of the device. According to the shared specs details, the upcoming Huawei P Smart Z pop-up selfie camera will come with a fairly large display, with a possible screen size of 6.59-inch. The phone will come with a dual rear camera and a fingerprint sensor at its back. The Huawei P Smart Z will be powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 710 chipset coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.

Huawei P Smart Z Pop-up Selfie Camera Phone Specifications

Huawei P Smart Z will feature an “Ultra Full view” display with no notch. The display on the phone will have FullHD + resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and the pixel density is 391 ppi. The leaked details suggest that the Huawei P Smart Z will come with an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 710 chipset, made on the 14-nanometer process. The phone will be coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and a fairly large battery with 4000 mAh battery.

The report also suggests that the phone will also support expandable storage up to 512 GB via micro SD card. The images of the upcoming Huawei P Smart Z also shows that the phone has a fingerprint sensor and a dual rear camera setup at its back.


The dual rear camera setup is said to include a 16-megapixel main camera and 2-megapixel secondary sensors with an aperture of f / 1.8 and f / 2.4, respectively. The measures 163.5 x 77.3 x 8.9 with a weight of 197 grams. The Huawei P Smart Z will come running Android 9 Pie out of the box and will also include 3.5mm headphone jack.

There are no pricing and availability details available as yet. However, the report and the leaked images, the Huawei P Smart Z will be available in the colors Midnight Black (black), Emerald Green (green) and Sapphire Blue (blue) color options.
