Razer Launches the Blade 15 and Blade Pro 17 Equipped With 9th Gen Intel Core Family

Time for a new Razer Blade family in 2019. We’re talking about the Blade 15 and Blade Pro 17. They come with new processors of the 9th generation Intel Core and graphics cards RTX series 20.

The Razer Blade family has come a long way and continues to enhance its features by maintaining an elegant aluminum body design package and a slim profile offering an excellent combination of work and fun for a high-end gaming laptop experience.

Let’s talk about both devices in details.

Razer Balde 15 Features

The Razer Blade 15 features a 15.6-inch screen, gaining a dramatic increase in productivity over the previous base model. A 9th-generation Intel Core i7-9750H 6-core processor drives the device.

The GPU has been boosted from the GTX 1060 and is now featuring the GeForce RTX 2060 along with a much more interesting panel of 144 Hz and 1080p color calibration. For those who have experimented or worked on a 144 Hz panel, they will certainly understand the meaning for such a development.

The 512GB NVMe storage is given and even includes 16GB of 2667 MHz dual DDR4 channel that is expandable to 32GB. Of course, the Razer Blade 15 Advanced adds some improvements to its essence.

You’ll not find any change in the CPU, but the GPU migrates to a GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q or a GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q. The advanced model offers two options when it comes to display – a 240Hz 1080p panel or an OLED 4K Touch 60Hz panel.

“The Razer Blade 15 is the perfect companion for hardcore gamers and power users,” says Razer Co-founder and CEO Min-Liang Tan. “Now we’re packing even more performance in the same slim form factor to satisfy the needs of even the most demanding gamers, esports athletes and content creators.”

Razer Blade Pro 17 Features

The Razer Blade Pro 17 is the next highlight of this Razer generation but comes in a more timid, no-monstrosity label. Blade Pro 17 offers the 9th-gen Intel Core i7-9750H as the Blade 15. It doesn’t come in a basic and advanced model.

It only has options for upgrades which are mainly in the form of which GPU you want, including GeForce RTX 2060, GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q and GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q. In the Blade Pro 17, you get only one option for display, the 144Hz 17.3-inch 1080p panel.

A 512GB NVMe storage is there which can be upgraded to a 2TB SSD for those who need more storage. Further expansion is possible with an open M.2 slot that supports PCIe and SATA SSDs.

“The new Blade Pro is the most powerful and versatile Razer laptop ever, capable of replacing the most powerful desktop computers,” says Razer’s Co-Founder and CEO Min-Liang Tan. “It is the perfect laptop for gamers who demand a large display, an insane amount of connectivity options, and excellent performance with no room for compromise.”
