Redmi Note 7 is the first smartphone from the Redmi brand after it got separated from the parent company Xiaomi. The phone has won the hearts of its fans around the world and is highly praised for its cost-effective pricing.

Today, the Redmi Note 7 gets the MIUI 10.3.5.0 update with stable global version. It gives an interesting changelog with some new features and bug fixes.

Most important is a new series of modes for the AI camera, but the company has not given much detail on this subject so far. There are fixes for the several camera issues too. The update also brings Game Booster, optimizations for the unlock screen and Mi Cloud’s support page.

The phone gets March 2019 security patch, so it’s advisable to update your device to prevent from harmful attacks and vulnerabilities.

The update is gradually rolling out to all eligible devices around the world. The distribution started in India via OTA (over-the-air) and will then land for models from other locations.

The Redmi Note 7 smartphone, as mentioned earlier, is a mid-range device which features a 6.3-inch IPS LCD display offering a Full HD+ resolution. There is an octa-core Snapdragon 660 processor and comes in 3GB, 4GB or 6GB of RAM options.

The rear camera has dual sensors with a 48MP main sensor with f / 1.8 aperture and 5MP secondary depth sensor. The front has a 13MP selfie sensor and the phone packs a 4000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 4 support.
