Fortnite v9.10 Content Update Patch Notes Brings Burst SMG, New Floors and More

Epic Games has released a new Fortnite v9.10 Content update patch notes and it brings the new Burst SMG (a Salvo Machine Gun) to the battle royal mode. The latest Fortnite v9.10 Content Update also adds new Floors and Mining Theme to let you create your own mining power. The latest Fortnite update also adds new Fossil-Southie to Fortnite the Save the World mode. It also brings new war game simulation: Verhext and more.

To recall, Epic Games released Fortnite v9.01 update last week that brought some significant changes to the game including the new Tactical Assault Rifle, Wick’s Bounty LTM that features John Wick, new Ruined Tilted in the creative mode and Mist Pods in the Save the World mode and several bug fixes and improvements to the overall gameplay.

BATTLE ROYALE

WHAT’S NEW?

Salvo Machine Gun
In combat in a small space, this salvo machine gun is absolutely devastating.

CHANGING LIMITED TIME MODE:

PURE GOLD (DUOS)

Fight to the end, using legendary weapons!

FROM THE VAULT (TEAMS)

Battle Royale gameplay with a limited weapon selection consisting only of items that are in the default modes in the vault.

CLOSE UP (TEAMS)

Battles in close quarters with shotguns and jetpacks!

WEAPONS AND OBJECTS

  • Salve submachine gun
    • Available variants: ordinary, unusual and rare.
    • Fires a quick volley of 4 bullets.
    • Causes 23/24/25 damage.
    • Head shots cause 1.75 times the damage.
    • Magazine contains 24 shots.
    • Can be found on the floor and in chests and purchased at vending machines.
    • Uses light ammo.
  • In the vault
    • Silenced submachine gun
      • Usually, Unusually, Rarely
      • Part of this week’s update is also the salvo machine gun, which shares some of the features of the silenced submachine gun (high PLC, light ammo, frequency levels). Because of these similarities and not to overload the item distribution and balance, we decided to send the silenced submachine gun back to the vault.

GROUP WEDGES

  • From now on, 4 foci are set at the beginning of the match to increase the likelihood of balanced focus distribution in both zones. This is a temporary solution until we have the functionality to evenly distribute foci in large team game modes.

  • Four new floor galleries have been added
    • Grass and Soil – Gallery B (looks similar to the previous grassy gallery, but now with tufts of grass)
    • Grass floor and sandy soil with wave pattern – gallery
    • Sandy soil with and without wave pattern – gallery
    • Snow and gravel floor – gallery
  • Added: Ring – Gallery B (with rings in the same colors as the beacons)
  • Added: Mine – Gallery.
  • Added: Doors – Gallery (Doors that count as objects and therefore can be placed anywhere)
  • Added: Wall variants – Gallery (for more construction options)

MISSIONS AND SYSTEMS

New war game simulation: Verhext

  • At the beginning of the simulation, the heroes are cursed and need to activate ancient statues to get rid of the effects.
  • Attention! The damaging effects of the curse gradually pile up. In addition, the curse will eventually return after being banned!
  • With a new war game simulation also wow new event tickets, a new player banner and a greater variety in the daily orders.

HEROES

  • We’ve added a new hero to the event shop: Fossil-Southie stomps into battle!
    • Standard advantage : dinosaur focus
      • As long as your shield is used up, you regenerate 4 energy per second .
    • Commander Advantage : Dinosaur Focus +
      • As long as your shield is used up, you will regenerate 12 energy per second .
  • Available from May 30, 2:00 CEST in the event shop
