OnePlus 7 Pro Spotted on Geekbench With 12 GB RAM and Snapdragon 855

OnePlus has officially announced that OnePlus 7 series will be launched on May 14 including the OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7 Pro that will support 5G connectivity. Now, around two weeks ahead of its official launch, OnePlus Pro has appeared on Geekbench benchmarking platform that confirms the much speculated 12GB RAM variant of the OnePlus 7 Pro. The device appears on the listing with model number GM1917 that reportedly belongs to the upcoming OnePlus 7 Pro.

The Geekbench listing of the OnePlus 7 Pro confirms that it is fueled by the 7nm Snapdragon 855 mobile platform. The SoC is mentioned with its “msmnile” codename on the listing. The listing further confirms that the device will indeed come running on Android 9 Pie out of the box.

OnePlus 7 Pro Specifications

OnePlus has so far confirmed that the OnePlus Pro will come with triple rear camera setup and popup selfie camera up front. The device is expected to feature a 6.7-inch display with a resolution of 3120×1440 pixels, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and the highly anticipated 90Hz refresh rate.

In a recent report with The Verge, OnePlus Founder & CEO Pete Lau confirmed that the OnePlus 7 Pro will come with 5G support and it will use a display that will be “super-smooth and very crisp,”. The report suggests that the upcoming OnePlus 7 Pro will feature 90Hz display.

As the Geekbench listing shows, the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 855. For the RAM and the Storage, the OnePlus Pro is expected to come in three variants, 6GB/ 128GB, 8GB/ 256GB, and 12GB/ 256GB, with the onboard storage standard being UFS 3.0 for faster data transfer.

According to the Reliable tipster Max J, OnePlus 7 Pro will come with a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP main camera with F1.6 aperture and OIS+EIS, 8MP 3x Zoom F2.4 and a 16MP sensor with 117° F2.2. Up front, there will be a 16MP selfie camera with F2.0 aperture.

OnePlus 7 Series Launch Event Set for May 14 in India, New York, UK and China. The phone will be available via offline and Amazon online store.
