A new Redmi 7A device has just popped on the Chinese certification site Tenaa with the model number (with model numbers M1903C3EC and M1903C3EE). The Tenaa listing reveals not only its design but also the key specifications of the upcoming Redmi 7A phone. Tenaa listing reveals that the Redmi 7A will come equipped with a single 13-megapixel rear camera coupled with a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The listing further reveals that the Redmi 7a has a 5.4-inch 720 x 1440 resolution IPS LCD display with no notch but you will get bezels on all sides.
The Tenaa listing doesn’t reveal the name of the SoC the devices uses but it only shows that it will come with a 1.4GHz octa-core processor that will be coupled by 2GB + 16GB, 3GB + 32GB, 4GB RAM + 64GB RAM and storage option. It will also support expandable storage via micro SD card up to 256GB.
The Redmi 7A packs a 3900mAh (4000mAh battery) and comes with running Android 9 Pie out of the box. Tenaa reveals that the phone will be available in Black, Red, Blue, Pink, White, Green, Purple, and Gray color options. Finally, it shows that the phone weighs 150 grams and measures 146.30 x 70.41 x 9.55 millimeters.
If you recall, we have a post back in December last year, where we have reported that the Xiaomi could launch Redmi 7A, Redmi 7 and Redmi 7 Pro. Since the Redmi 7 and the Redmi 7 Pro have already been launched, there is only Redmi 7A left to be launch. Now the Tenaa listing also hints that the Redmi 7A could also be launched soon.
Xiaomi has also announced to launch the new Redmi 7S with the dual rear camera on May 20 in India. The phone will follow the Redmi’s 7 series line up and will be available in India via Flipkart online store.
There are no pricing and availability details available for the upcoming Rdmi 7A as of now.
