Reshade Version 4.3 Brings Experimental Support for Microsoft DirectX API, DX12

Reshade Version 4.3

Crosire has released a new Reshade Version 4.3 and according to the changelog, it finally brings experimental support for Microsoft DirectX API, DX12. For those who don’t already know, ReShade is a generic post-processing injector for games and video software developed by crosire. It brings ambient occlusion, real depth of field effects, color correction and more for games that support DX12.

”ReShade exposes an automated and generic way to access both frame color and depth information (latter is automatically disabled during multiplayer to prevent exploitation) and all the tools to make it happen.”

Recently, a YouTube video showed us GTA 5 with Reshade Mod Live in action using Real-Time Ray Tracing. The video showed us the real-time effects of the latest Reshade mod that adds real-time ray tracing Global Illumination effects to any game that supports DX9, DX10, and DX11. Now with the latest Reshade update finally brings experimental support for games that support DX12.

The latest Reshade Version 4.3 also brings tons of new features and bug fixes. If you are interested you can check out the full changelog below.
