Xiaomi is all set to launch its another gaming smartphone the Black Shark 2. According to the official Flipkart product page, it is now confirmed that the Black Shark 2 will be launched in Inda on May 27 and it will be available via Flipkart. I would like to remind you that Black Shark 2 was first launched in China in March this year. Since then, the phone is being expected to be available in India as well. Xiaomi is a company usually known for its affordable yet power-packed smartphones such as POCO F1 recently launched Redmi Note 7 series, etc.
On the other, Xiaomi’s Black Shark series smartphone features a power-packed device that comes with industries top of the line Snapdragon 855 SoC, coupled with an Adreno 640 GPU and up to 12GB of RAM. The phone also comes with Liquid Cool 3.0 which Xiaomi calls Direct Touch Multilayer Liquid Cooling. This keeps the phone’s temperature down while gaming.
Black Shark 2 features a 6.39-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) AMOLED True View display with HDR support. The display has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 403ppi of pixel density.
In the camera department, the Black Shark 2 sports a dual rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.75 lens and a 12-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 lens. The camera also supports 2x optical zoom. Up front, there is a 20-megapixel camera along with an f/2.0 lens.
For the storage, the phone comes in two different storage variant, 128GB, and 265GB. The phone features an in-display fingerprint sensor, and also comes with a 4,000mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C port.
Xiaomi hasn’t yet announced the pricing of the phone. However, the phone in China was priced at CNY 3,199 (roughly Rs. 32,700) for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage model, while its 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage option was priced at CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 35,800). There is also 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage variant that is priced at CNY 3,799 (roughly Rs. 38,800) and the top-end model that comes with 12GB RAM/ 256GB storage priced at CNY 4,199 (roughly Rs. 42,900).
