At the ongoing E3 conference, AMD today announced the new Ryzen 9 3950X, its first 16-core, 32-thread CPU aimed at the mainstream desktop processor. The new Ryzen 9 3950X will be the first mainstream SoC to feature up to 16-cores, 32-thread. The processor also features a whopping 72MB of L3 cache, a boost clock of 4.7 GHz. The new AMD Ryzen 9 3950X CPU will top in the list of 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen Desktop Processors Line-up based on the new “Zen 2” core architecture.
While the rest of the processors which were announced in May this year are planned to be available starting on July 7 next month. The newly announced AMD Ryzen 9 3950X CPU will hit the stores in September 2019 for $749 (about £590, AU$1,080, Rs.52,000 INR).
AMD alongside its new Ryzen 9 3950X CPU SoC also announced two new Radeon RX 5700 series graphics card including, the Radeon RX 5700 XT & RX 5700 priced at $449 and $379 respectively.
AMD in addition to its E3 conference has also announced a multi-year partnership with game publishers such as The Coalition, Gearbox Official, Ubisoft and more to bring the best gaming experience possible to Gears of War 5, Borderlands 3 and Tom Clancy’s upcoming Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
Notably, Gears of War 5 or Gears 5 released date has also been confirmed and it’s coming on September 11 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
