Gran Turismo Sport Update 1.40 Patch Notes to Bring 5 New Cars and Sardegna Road Course and More

Kaz Yamauchi, producer of Gran Turismo Sport has now shared the full list of contents which will be available in the tomorrows Gran Turismo Sport update 1.40 patch notes on June 27. As we reported earlier, the Gran Turismo Sport update 1.40 patch notes will bring 5 new cars as well as a new the Sardegna Road Course. The 5 new cars which will be coming with tomorrow Gran Turismo Sport update includes Chevrolet Camaro Z28 ’69 (N300), Toyota Tundra TRD Pro ’19 (N400), Toyota Sports 800 ’65 (N100), Renault Sport Clio V6 24V ’00 (N200) and Gran Turismo Red Bull X2019 Competition (Gr.X).

The Gran Turismo Sport update 1.40 will also bring new Sardegna Road Course that features the island of Sardegna, one of a number of Italian resorts on the Mediterranean Sea. The Total Length of the Course is 5,113m, Elevation Change 38m, Number of corners 15 and Longest Straight: 915m.

The upcoming 1.40 Gran Turismo Sport update will also bring various other features, improvements, and repairs to the game. For now, you can check out the Gran Turismo Sport update 1.40 patch notes below.

The following is a list of contents included with Update 1.40:

1. Five new vehicles, from American muscle cars to the new Red Bull X-Series model.

  • Chevrolet Camaro Z28 ’69 (N300),
  • Toyota Tundra TRD Pro ’19 (N400),
  • Toyota Sports 800 ’65 (N100),
  • Renault Sport Clio V6 24V ’00 (N200)
  • Gran Turismo Red Bull X2019 Competition (Gr.X)

2. The “Sardegna – Road Course.”

  • Sardegna – Road Course
    Total Length: 5,113m. Elevation Change: 38m. Number of corners: 15. Longest Straight: 915mA new road course featuring the island of Sardegna, one of a number of Italian resorts on the Mediterranean Sea, is now open for business on Gran Turismo Sport. Using closed-off sections of public roads, this high-speed technical street course is characterized by long, fast straights and tight corners. In particular, the elevation changes through the latter half of the course and the narrow roadway make for a very harrowing drive. Three layouts are offered: A, the longest of the three; B (3,893m), and C (2,661m).

3. Exclusive X2019 Competition is added to “GT League.”

X2019 Competition Endurance Series (Endurance League)
This is an endurance race for the competition-tuned Red Bull X2019 Competition. In addition, the following new rounds will be added to GT League:

– Beginner League
Two new rounds to the “Light Weight K Cup.”

– Amateur League
Two new rounds to the “Gr. B Rallycross.”

– Professional League
Two new rounds to the “Group 1 Cup.”

– Endurance League
One new round to the “Gr.1 Prototype Endurance Series.”

4. Enjoy even more new features.

SCAPES
“Low-Angle ‒ Ground Up” is now part of the special featured section.

CIRCUIT EXPERIENCE
“Goodwood Motor Circuit” will be added to the “Circuit Experience.”
