Seems like Samsung has started rolling out the first software update for its Galaxy M40 device. Notably, Samsung Galaxy M40 recently went on its first sale in India. According to the release notes, the latest firmware update for the Galaxy M40 doesn’t seem a major update and mainly brings the May Android security patch.

The Samsung Galaxy M40 update according to the changelog weighs around 152.36MB in size and carries the version number M405DDU1ASF2/ M405FODM1ASF4/ M405FDDU1ASEB. The update also brings bug fixes and improvements to the device.

Since the majority of the update rolls out via OTA. The latest Galaxy M40 update is likely to be rolling out in batches via OTA, so wait for the update. You can also check for the update manually by heading to your phone’s SettingsSoftware updates.

Notably, Samsung Galaxy M40 is the fourth device under Samsung Galaxy M series quick launched in India last week.
