July Security Patch Update for the Essential Phone is Now Available

Its been over three months now since we had reported about the March security patch update released for the Essential Phone. Now, the company has released the latest July 2019 security patch level update for its Essential Phone PH-1. Essential via its official Twitter post announced that July’s security patches are now available for Open Market customers. So, if you are an Essential Phone owner and have been waiting for the latest security patch level update for your device then you can now check for the latest update.

According to the Twitter post, the latest update is available for the Essential Phones with build number PQ1A.190105.090 and for the changelog, the update only adds July security patches to the Essential Phone. Check out the official tweet below.


Notably, the latest July security patch update for the Essential Phone is rolling out via OTA, so it might take some time to arrive on your device. However, if you want you can check for the update manually by heading to your phone’s setting.
