LG G8X ThinQ with Detachable Second Display, 32-Megapixel Selfie Camera Launched

Today at the IFA 2019 trade show in Berlin LG launched it’s new LG G8X ThinQ smartphone that features a secondary detachable screen. The new LG G8X ThinQ might be a good alternative for people looking for a foldable like display phone. The secondary display on the LG G8X ThinQ can be flipped upside or you can simply flip it down to close it. Other highlights of new LG G8X ThinQ includes a waterdrop notch and the 32-megapixel selfie camera at the front. Notably, the same LG G8X ThinQ will be available in South Korea with a different name as LG V50S ThinQ that will also come with 5G support.

The secondary screen on the new LG G8X ThinQ can be plugged in via a USB Type-C connection. Both the display comes with the same 6.4-inch of screen size with full-HD+ resolution.

LG G8X ThinQ features an in-display fingerprint sensor and it is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The phone runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box.

On the rear, the LG G8X ThinQ features a dual-camera setup which includes a 12-megapixel primary camera sensor along with a 13-megapixel secondary shooter with a super wide-angle lens. Upfront, there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera. LG G8X ThinQ comes with a 4,000mAh battery with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.

However, LG hasn’t yet announced the pricing and the exact availability date for the newly launched LG G8X ThinQ which is expected to be revealed on a later date this year.
