Mi Mix Alpha with 4D Surround Curved Display, Virtual Side Buttons, 108MP Rear Camera Announced

Xiaomi today announced the launch of two new devices including the Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G and a new concept Mi Mix Alpha 5G phone that features a screen wrapped almost all around the phone. The Mi Mix Alpha is insanely designed phone that brings the future of smartphones to peoples hand.

Talking about the Mi Mix Alpha, it is the first smartphone that features a whopping 180.6 percent screen-to-body ratio one wouldn’t have seen on any other smartphone ever. It’s also a kind of foldable smartphones that comes with a display wrapped all around the phone and features curved side edges. The smartphone comes with pressure-sensitive virtual side buttons on both sides.

Mi Mix Alpha Specifications, Design and Features

The newly announced Mi Mix Alpha is said to deliver a truly bezel-less experience with its 4D surrounding curved display. Another major highlight of the Mi Mix Alpha is the 108-megapixel ultra-high resolution camera with a 1/1.33-inch ultra large image sensor and 12032 x 9024 pixels.

For the specs, the Mi MIX Alpha features a Snapdragon 855+, coupled with 12GB+512GB RAM and storage, and supports UFS3.0. Mi MIX Alpha is powered by a 4050mAh battery with 40W wired fast charge.

The Mi Mix Alpha also features an aerospace-grade titanium alloy, a single piece of sapphire glass to protect the camera lenses embedded in high-precision ceramics.

Mi Mix Alpha AI Scene Scenario Detection Feature

The newly announced Mi MIX Alpha also comes with AI scene scenario detection features. Such as, it will open Mi Home app when you reach your home. It will also show you the available routes when calling a taxi and finally will show flight information when you are at the airport.

Mi Mix Alpha Camera

On the camera side, Mi Mix Alpha features a triple rear camera setup including a main 108MP camera that includes a 1/1.33-inch ultra large image sensor and highest 12032 x 9024 resolution pixels. There are a secondary 12-megapixel telephoto lens and a third 20-megapixel ultra-wide lens. For selfies, you can simply flip the phone to take selfies from the rear camera.

Alongside, Xiaomi at its today’s event also launched MIUI 11 and its Mi Full Screen TV Pro.
