To bring more power and efficient power supply to desktop PCs used by business owners and enterprises AMD today announced the global availability of its new AMD Ryzen PRO 3000 Series desktop processor lineup, along with new AMD Ryzen PRO processors with Radeon Vega Graphics and AMD Athlon PRO processors with Radeon Vega Graphics. The new processors will be available with HP’s EliteDesk 705 G5 Series and Lenovo’s ThinkCentre small form factor desktops PCs.
You will have the option to go with the HP EliteDesk 705 G5 Small Form Factor or the HP EliteDesk 705 G5 Desktop Mini PCs powered by the latest AMD Ryzen PRO 3000 Series desktop processor with Radeon Vega Graphics.
HP EliteDesk 705 G5 Small Form Factor PC will be available in September starting at $669 USD. While the HP EliteDesk 705 G5 Desktop Mini PC powered by the AMD Ryzen PRO desktop processor with Radeon Vega Graphics will be available in November starting at $679 USD.
The new processor will also be available with Lenovo’s ThinkCentre M75s-1 small form factor (SFF) and M75q-1 Tiny form factor. However, AMD hasn’t provided the price and the availability for the new models of Lenovo’s ThinkCentre small form factor desktops PCs powered by the new AMD Ryzen PRO 3000 Series desktop processors.
The AMD Ryzen PRO 3000 Series desktop processor lineup which includes the AMD Ryzen 9 PRO 3900, AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 3700, and AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 3600 CPUs are based on the world’s most advanced 7nm “Zen 2” core architecture offering up to 12 cores and 24 threads.
