One UI Beta Program Based on Android 10 for Galaxy S10 Begins, Top Features

If you recall, Samsung rolled out it’s newest One UI based on the Android Pie beta program for Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+ last year in December 2018. Now, Samsung has started the One UI beta program based on the latest Android 10 for several of its Galaxy S10 devices. According to the beta announcement, the One UI beta program based on the latest Android 10 is now available for Galaxy S10e/S10/S10+/S10 5G devices in select countries. If you don’t already know, the beta program lets you check out the new features of the latest version of Android on your compatible device.

Minimized Caller Notification Pop-Up

First of all, as the key features of One UI based on Android 10 for Galaxy S10 minimizes the size of the caller notification pop-up and embedded loading indicators on the screen.

The reduced space of the pop-ups will allow you to enjoy your content with less distraction on the display. It also minimizes the size of the volume bar so you can enjoy more free space on your display.

Dark Mode to the Home Screen

The One UI based on Android 10 also brings Dark Mode to the home screen. The feature provides a more comfortable viewing experience by adjusting the brightness of images, texts and colors on the display. Additionally, lower brightness means less consumption of the battery.

It also brings you a more clear lock screen by making the visuals more clear, so you can view the clock, notifications, and texts clearly.

Smart Lock Screen

With the new One UI and Android 10, the smart lock screen now automatically adjusts the color of the text on the lock screen so you can view the text clearly.

Focus Mode

The enhanced One UI features also brigs new Focus Mode which lets you pause apps temporarily for times when you need to minimize distractions.

It also lets you keep track of your apps usage time so you can temporarily pause them to make your app usage more efficient. There are some other tools as well to help you manage your digital wellbeing.
