Oppo Reno Ace With 65W SuperVOOC Fast Charging and SD855+ SoC Launched in China

Oppo today launched its new Oppo Renno series flagship smartphone the Oppo Reno Ace in China. The new Oppo Reno as its biggest highlight comes with the company’s most powerful and fastest 65W SuperVOOC fast charging technology, which is said to fully charge the phone’s 4,000mAh battery in merely 30 minutes. Some other highlights of the new Oppo Renno Ace include a Snapdargoon 855+ SoC, 4000 mAh battery, up to 12GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. Some other highlights include Touch Boost 2.0 which enhances the touch experience, dual stereo speakers along with Dolby Atom sound.

Oppo Renno Ace features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ curved AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone runs on Android 9 Pie powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC, coupled with an 8GB and 12GB RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.

Similar to its siblings, the Oppo Reno Ace also features a quad rear camera setup. The camera setup includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel secondary sensor an 8-megapixel third sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Upfront, there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera at the front.

Oppo Reno Ace also comes with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Oppo has also given the support for the USB-PD (USB Power Delivery) and Qualcomm’s Quick Charge technologies on the Renno Ace.

Oppo Reno Ace Price and Availability

The Oppo Reno Ace has been priced at CNY 3,199 in China (roughly Rs. 32,000) for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. While the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at CNY 3,399 (roughly Rs. 34,000). Last but not least, the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model is priced at CNY 3,799 (roughly Rs. 38,000).

The phone is now up for pre-orders in China in Blue and Violet colors. The Oppo Renno Ace will go on its first sale starting October 16 through various online retailers in the country.
