AMD on Tuesday launched its new Athlon 3000G mainstream desktop processor. The new AMD Athlon 3000G processor is made for Radeon Vega graphics card and is priced at $49. The new Athlon 3000G processor comes with 2 CPU cores, 3 GPU Cores and 4 Threads.
The Athlon 3000G processor also includes 35W TDP along with Radeon Vega 3 Graphics clocked at 1,000MHz. The new Athlon 3000G supports Windows 10 – 64-Bit Edition, RHEL x86 64-Bit and Ubuntu x86 64-Bit.
The processor is made of 14nm microarchitecture with a total 192KB L1 cache, 1MB L2 cache and 4MB L3 cache. The processor also supports PCI Express Version PCIe 3.0.
