Essential Phone Latest Update Based on Android 10, Brings November, 2019 Security Patch

Essential has just started pushing out a new system software update for its Essential Phone. According to the changelogs, the latest Essential Phone update based on Android 10 brings the latest security patch level to November 2019. Essential Phone users can now check for the latest update on their devices by heading to the settings tab.

To recall, Essential rolled out the latest Android 10 for Essential Phone users on the Sprint network last month. The update added October security patch level and cool new features of Android 10.

The last month’s update with Android 10 added the following features to the Essential Phone.

  • System-wide dar mode
  • Enhanced gesture-based navigation
  • Smart reply
  • Privacy and security improvements

You should receive the notification for the latest update on your Essential Phone. But if you didn’t yet receive the notification then you can manually check for the update by heading to your phone’s settings.
