Microsft has announced that it will be ending support for its Cortana app on both iOS and Android at the end of January next year. Microsoft via its official Cortana support page announced that it is integrating Cortana into Microsoft 365 productivity apps, such as Office and To Do. As part this, on January 31st, 2020, it will end support for the Cortana app on Android and iOS.
According to the CNET report, the Cortana mobile app support for both Android and iOS devices will end in regions such as the UK, Canada, Australia, India, Mexico and Spain. This means that users in the US will continue using the Cortana app on both iOS and Android.
Microsoft also said that the reminders and lists users had created will no longer function in the Cortana mobile app or Microsoft Launcher after January 31st, 2020. But they will still be able to access them through Cortana on Windows.
