If you recall, LG at the IFA 2019 trade show in Berlin launched it’s new LG G8X ThinQ smartphone with a detachable secondary display. The phone was also announced to be available in South Korea with a different name as LG V50S ThinQ that also include 5G support.
Now, according to a new report from a Korean tech site koreaherald via some industry source. LG will showcase its new flagship smartphone called the LG V60 ThinQ at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in February 2020.
The report, claims that the LG V60 ThinQ will come with a dual-screen display similar to the LG G8X ThinQ and 5G connectivity support. According to the report, an industry official told that “LG Electronics is planning to showcase V60 ThinQ as next year’s first smartphone to expand its presence in the 5G market.”
The report reveals that the upcoming LG V60 ThinQ will come with an upgraded folding structure design. The phone is likely to adopt the “free stop hinge” technology for its folding display that was used in the earlier LG G8X ThinQ version.
