At The Game Award in Los Angeles, Microsoft announced that Senua’s Saga upcoming Hellblade 2 will be available to Xbox Series X. Microsoft also released the official trailer for the game. But before the Hellblade 2 announcement, Microsoft announced and confirmed the name of its next-gen gaming console to be called as the Xbox Series X.
Notably, the Xbox Series X was previously known as Project Scarlett. But now its name has been officially confirmed. It worth mentioning here that the Senua’s Saga upcoming Hellblade 2 will also be released on the Xbox Series X.
Microsoft however, didn’t reveal many details about its next-gen Xbox Series X. But it did reveal that the Xbox Series X will be available in Holiday 2020.
In a blog post, Microsoft said that the upcoming Xbox Series X will be the company’s fastest and most powerful console ever. The new console is also said to deliver four times the processing power of Xbox Series X in the quietest and efficient way.
Gamers will be able to play games on the new Xbox Series X in 4K at 60FPS.F Microsoft says that the FPS rate can be achieved at up to 120FPS while playing games on the Xbox Series X, including support for Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), and 8K capability.
In the blog post, Microsoft also confirmed that Xbox Series X will be powered by a custom-designed processor based on AMD’s Zen 2 and next-generation RDNA architecture.
