Sony at CES 2020 launched a new range of 4K and 8K smart Android TVs. The new range of TVs includes Sony X950H 4K LED, A8H 4K OLED, and Z8H 8K LED TV models and more. Sony says that the new models come with improved and immersive sound quality and larger displays for more viewed 8K and 4K viewing experience. All the new TV models fall under Sony’s XBR series.
If we talk about the Sony X950H 4K LED model, it will be available in five different screen sizes ranging from 49″ class (48.5″ diag) to 85″ class (84.6″ diag). While the A8H 4K OLED TV will come in only two screen sizes 55″ class (54.6″ diag) and 65″ class (64.5″ diag).
On the other hand, the Z8H 8K LED TV will come in two different screen sizes including 75″ class (74.5″ diag) and 85″ class (84.6″ diag).
For the price, Sony hasn’t announced the pricing of the above TV models yet. But its has given a Notify me button on its official site to get the latest details available on the newly announced TVs. Notably, the Sony X950H TV model gets an upgrade over the display size which now includes 55-inches to 85-inch.
As we said above, the new models come with improved and immersive sound quality and larger displays for more viewed 8K and 4K viewing experience. If we talk about the Sony X950H 4K LED model it top features includes Sony’s Picture Processor X1 Ultimate chip that analyzes data to boost color, contrast and clarity. The TV also features a Full-Array LED to bring you a more realistic contrast, light areas lighter and dark areas darker.
The TV also uses X-tended Dynamic Range PRO to even further enhanced the contrast and adjust brightness.
All the newly launched TV models come powered by Sony’s Picture Processor X1 Ultimate chip and Object-based HDR remaster features. That enhances the color in individual objects on the screen and adjusts the contrast based on objects.
The X950H 4K LED TV comes with Sound-positioning tweeters that optimize the location of sound on the screen so you hear precisely controlled, high-quality audio from the right part of the scene.
The X950H 4K LED TV, A8H 4K OLED TV and the Z8H 8K LED TV models comes with the support for Google Assistant, Alexa, Hands-Free Voice Search, Apple AirPlay and AppleHomekit applications.
