Realme 5i was expected to launch in India soon. But now, the official Flipkart teaser page of the upcoming Realme 5i has confirmed that the device will be launched in India on January 9 at 12:30 PM. The Flipkart teaser page also confirms some key highlights of the Realme 5i. The teaser page reveals that the Realme 5i packs a large 5000 mAh battery and a vertically staged AI quad (four) rear camera setup.
The Realme 5i Flipkart Teaser page also reveals that the phone features a 6.5-inch mini-drop full-screen display and a ‘powerful Snapdragon processor’. According to the previous leaks, the SoC is most likely to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC. The phone is confirmed to come in a Green colour option, but there could be a Blue colour variant as well.
The Realme 5i will also feature a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. For the rear cameras, it is expected to include a 12MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro lens.
Realme has also tweeted that the Realme 5i will be launched on January 9 at 12:30 PM. The launch event will also be live steam on Realme’s social channels and the realme.com.
