Xiaomi today launched Poco X2 in India. The new device is a kind of rebranded version of the Redmi K30 4G smartphone that launched earlier in the country. The Poco X2 will also compete with biggest rival Realm X2. There are quite a few specs which you will find same in both the handsets. Both the smartphones come with Snapdragon Snapdragon 730G SoC, 64MP quad rear camera setup, fast charging support, in-display fingerprint sensor etc. However, the biggest highlight of the new Poco X2 is the RealityFlow 120Hz Display.

Unlike the Realme X2, the new Poco X2 features dual hole-punch selfie camera and also a slightly bigger 4,500mAh battery. Xiaomi has also priced Poco X2 comparatively low with other devices in this segment.

The new Poco X2 price in India starts from Rs. 15,999 for the 6GB + 64GB variant and goes up to Rs. 19,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant. There is also a mid 6GB + 128GB variant which is priced Rs. 16,999.

Poco X2 Availability and Sale Start Date

The new Poco X2 will go on its first sale in India starting at 12 pm (noon) IST on Tuesday, February 11 especially via Flipkart. The phone will be available in Atlantis Blue, Matrix Purple, and Phoenix Red colour options.

Poco X2 Specifications

If we talk about the specs of the new Poco X2, there aren’t many differences if we compare it with the Realme X2. The Poco X2 comes with a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) RealityFlow 120Hz Display. The Poco X2 is also powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC, the same processor that powers the Realme X2.

The SoC is paired with Adreno 618 GPU and up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. For gaming, the new Poco X2 also comes with second-generation Game Turbo mode to boost graphics rendering.

The Camera

On the camera side, we also find the quad rear camera as similar to the Realme X2. The setup also includes a 64MP main sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor and two 2MP cameras including a depth sensor. The phone also comes with a dedicated VLOG mode that aims to help user shoot Vlog including 960fps Slow-mo video recording, and 4K video capture.

The new Poco X2 also comes with up to 256GB UFS 2.1 storage, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device is powered by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 27W fast charging.

The new Poco X2 comes with almost a similar specs at the slightly lowered price compared to the Realme X2. The new device in India is likely to take on Realme X2 and Vivo S1 Pro which also falls under the same price segment with similar specifications.
