Xiaomi has launched a new Redmi 8A Pro device in Indonesia. The new smartphone is certainly a new one but it seems to be a rebranded version of the Redmi 8A Dual that was launched in India this year in February. The Redmi 8A Pro from its original sibling comes with a dual rear camera and it features a 6.22-inch (720×1,520 pixels) HD+ display. The phone also comes with a single selfie camera placed on the front waterdrop notch.
The new Redmi 8A Pro comes with powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 439 SoC coupled with 2GB + 32GB and 3GB + 32GB RAM and storage variants. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery. For gaming and graphics, the Redmi 8A Pro also features Adreno 505 GPU.
For the camera, the new Redmi 8A Pro sports a dual rear camera setup featuring a main 13-megapixel camera and a secondary 2-megapixel sensor. Upfront, the phone has an 8-megapixel selfie snapper.
The new Redmi 8A Pro is available for purchase on the official Redmi Indonesia website at IDR 1,549,000 (roughly Rs. 7,100) for the 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. While the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant is listed priced at IDR 1,649,000 (roughly Rs. 7,600).
The phone is available three colour options, including Midnight Grey, Sea Blue, and Sky White.
