Airtel’s Rs. 98 Prepaid Pack Now Offers Double Data Benefits with 28 Days Validity

Airtel has revised its Rs. 98 Prepaid Pack data benefits by increasing the data benefits from 6GB to 12GB on recharging with the Rs. 98 prepaid pack with the same 28 days of validity. Now, you can enjoy double 4G data with the same prepaid pack for 28 days. To recall, the Rs. 98 prepaid pack used to provide 6GB data benefits. However, this only includes data benefits and didn’t include any SMS or calling benefits.

Notably, the new double data benefit on Rs. 98 pack from Airtel is likely to rival Reliance Jio’s Rs. 101 data voucher pack which also offers 12GB of 4G data. However, the pack from Jio also offers 1000 Jio to non-Jio calling minutes but not only data.

You should also note, that Airtel’s Rs. 98 prepaid pack comes with the 28 days validity while Jio’s Rs. 101 data voucher pack doesn’t have a validity period and comes with the user’s existing base plan. Airtel hasan’t made any changes to Rs. 401 and Rs. 48 data prepaid packs as both these plans continue to offer 3GB data with 28 days validity. While the Rs. 401 pack also offers Disney+Hotstart VIP access with a validity of one year.

It’s worth noting here that, Jio has also revised its Rs. 251, Rs. 201, and Rs. 151 Work From Home prepaid add-on packs. All these packs have now been revised with a 30 days validity. Notably, these packs were previously available as part of users’ existing base plan but now Jio has revised these packs with 30 days validity.

This means that if you recharge any of these Jio packs then you will have to consume all of its data within 30 days of validity and it won’t be based on your existing base Jio plan.
