Huawei’s’ sub-brand Honor today launched its new Honor 9X Pro smartphone in India. The new phone comes with Huawei’s own Mobile Services (HMS) instead of the Google Mobile Services that includes all the Google apps including the PlayStore. Instead of the Google Play Store, the new Honor 9X Pro smartphone comes with Huwaei’s Huawei’s AppGallery. From where you can download all your favorite apps for your phone.
Now, talking about the main highlight of the new Honor 9X Pro. The phone comes with a pop-up selfie camera and a triple rear camera setup. The new Honor 9X Pro is a mid-range phone and has been priced at Rs. 17,999 for the single, 6GB + 256GB storage variant.
The phone is powered by Huawei’s octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 810 SoC, coupled with 6GB of RAM. The supports dual-SIM (Nano) and runs Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.1 on top. It features a 6.59-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,340 pixels) IPS display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 92 percent screen-to-body ratio.
For gaming, the Honor 9X Pro also features GPU Turbo 3.0 technology powered by artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms.
Notably, the triple rear camera setup on the phone includes a 48-megapixel Sony IMX582 main sensor an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens. The camera setup also has a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, the phone comes with a 16-megapixel pop-up camera.
The phone packs a 4,000mAh battery that is said to last for a day on a single charge.
Honor 9X Pro Price and Availability in India
The new honor 9X Pro is priced at Rs. 17,999 in India and the phone will be available in Midnight Black and Phantom Black colour options starting later this month as a part of a special Early Access Sale on Flipkart.
Notably, Honor is also offering a discount of Rs. 3,000 where you can buy the phone at Rs. 14,999 and no-cost EMI options for up to six months for customers participating in the early sale.
