Amid its fans’ annoyance at little or no gameplay and more than anything else, pure cinematic presentation, Xbox announced the following games for Xbox Series X:

13 Third-Party Games Announced for Xbox Series X

  • Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (Ubisoft)
  • Bright Memory Infinite (Playism)
  • Call of the Sea (Raw Fury)
  • Chorus (Deep Silver)
  • DiRT 5 (Codemasters)
  • Madden NFL 21 (Electronic Arts)
  • Scarlet Nexus (Bandai Namco Entertainment)
  • Scorn (Ebb)
  • Second Extinction (Systemic Reaction)
  • The Ascent (Neon Giant / Curve Digital)
  • The Medium (Bloober Team)
  • Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 (Paradox Interactive)
  • Yakuza: Like a Dragon (SEGA)

On the other hand, they declared that all the games that were announced will be optimized for Xbox Series X, which breaks with those who stated that it would probably only be the first party games that would achieve the graphic improvement. This will imply that titles will be able to run at 4K 120 FPS, will have DirectStorage, DirectX ray tracing, ultra-fast loading time, etc.
