LG is expected to launch its upcoming LG Velvet smartphone on May 7 in South Korea with its first sale starting May 15th. Notably, LG has already confirmed the design and colors of its upcoming LG Velvet phone. Now, a handful of freshly leaked hands-on images of the LG Velvet has surfaced online before its official launch.
The freshly hands-on images of the upcoming LG Velvet phone come from Koren community site Naver which shows hands-on images of LG Velvet in two colors Aurora Gray and Aurora White. Check out the LG Velvet hands-on images below.
As per the LG Korea website, the LG Velvet will feature a 6.8-inch 20.5: 9 aspect ratio curved Cinema FullVision display. The phone will also feature ‘stereo speakers’ and ‘artificial intelligence sound’.
On the camera side, the LG Velvet will feature a triple rear camera setup including a main 48MP camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP depth sensor on the back. The upcoming LG Velvet will also come with 5G support powered by Snapdragon 765 5G SoC.
LG says that the new LG Velvet will also come with various exclusive accessories including an ‘LG Dual Screen’ and ‘Stylus Pen’ which will be available to purchase separately.
LG Velvet will come with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage which will also be upgradable up to 2TB via Micro SD card. The phone will pack a 4,300mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ technology.
Other LG Velvet features including connectivity options include NFC, USB Type-C port, IP68, HDR10, Bluetooth 5.1, and network support 3G/4G LTE-A/5G.
LG Velvet will be available in South Korea starting May 15. The phone will be available Aurora White, Aurora Gray, Aurora Green, and Illusion Sunset.
