In the latest rumors, the number of players in Call of Duty: Warzone appears to be increasing during the fourth season.
Activision and Infinity Ward released the new content of the fourth season for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare last week, so you can unlock a lot of new content from the Battle Pass. But, a new multiplayer map, new weapons and fresh game modes have also been introduced.
Warzone fans, in particular, are currently getting their money’s worth with Warzone Rumble by experiencing action on every corner in this 100-player team deathmatch. This reduced number of players compares two teams of 50 soldiers each to determine who wears the proverbial trousers in Verdansk.
It has long been speculated that Infinity Ward will raise the previous maximum of 150 players in the Battle Royale. Now some players have found appropriate hints. Some players of the free-to-play variant of Call of Duty: Warzone has discovered an image that seems to confirm three other modes.
So, BR 200, Plunder 200 and BR Juggernaut should come into play, so that you can play both the normal battle royale and loot money with 200 players. Juggernaut mode has already been confirmed in the fourth season roadmap, while Infinity Ward has not yet officially confirmed the increase in player numbers. In the previous interview, it was only hinted that it would come one day.
Time will have to show once again whether the new variants will actually find their way into the war zone. They would probably move in during the fourth season. Until then, you can continue to deal with quads, trios, duos, solos and other modes with a total of up to 150 players.
