How to Remove Modern Warfare DLC Files to Free Up Space on Consoles for the Latest Update

Infinity Ward, earlier today kicked off Call of Duty: Modern Warfare & Warzone season 4  and also released the latest title update patch notes for the game. In the patch notes, Infinity Ward noted that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare & Warzone season 4 will take up an additional 4GB space on consoles with all of the new content added. The dev also noted that they have compressed a bunch of assets to make the season 4 file size as small as possible.

Notably, the latest Modern Warfare and Warzone Season 4 update file size were expected to be as follows:

  • PS4: 32.5GB
  • Xbox One: 44.3GB
  • PC (MW+WZ owners): 45GB

Infinity Ward in its recent tweet confirmed that ‘Some players on Xbox are seeing a larger than expected download size for today’s update. Now, Infinity Ward has said that they are actively investigating an issue with the latest Modern Warfare update.
