Update: PS5 Event Officially Confirmed to Take Place on Thursday, June 11

Sony’s PS5 event is reportedly going to take place on Thursday, June 11. According to a new Twitch ad, which recently popped up on the streaming service. Sony will now host the PS5 event for Thursday, June 11.

To recall, the PS5 event was previously scheduled to take place on June 4. but, unfortunately, it got postponed due to the ongoing protests in the United States and around the world over the death of George Floyd.

According to the screenshot from the german Twitch stream shared on Reddit, the upcoming PS5 event will take place on Thursday, June 11, at 09:00 PM (BST).

Notably, Sony will be showcasing the PS5 games on its upcoming PS5 event. We could also get some new details about the PS5 too.
