Resident Evil Director has “No Issues” with the Rumored Resident Evil 4 Remake

The new successful stage that Resident Evil gives for everything, including rumors and some of the strongest assurance that the remake strategy planned by Capcom has set its goal in Resident Evil 4. A title that has not ceased to have a presence on consoles and PC before its debut on GameCube in 2005.

Although there is nothing confirmed, the environment seems to be ideal for it to become official at any time and, at least, the hypothetical project already has the backing of the director of the franchise.

Interviewed by IGN, Shinji Mikami, one of the most important directors in the history of Resident Evil, was questioned about a possible remake of the fourth installment. Which he managed to direct in its original version, marking a before and an after in the franchise.

In this regard, Mikami was brief, but made it clear that if the Resident Evil 4 Remake project is real, it has his approval: “as long as it turns out good I have no issues with it.”

Mikami is continuing his work with Tango Gameworks on the horror game GhostWire: Tokyo. His path has been very close to that of Resident Evil. As it is said that he was wanted to participate in the founding of M-Two, a responsible studio, along with other teams, from Resident Evil 3 Remake.

As for Resident Evil, various rumors indicate that efforts are focused on Resident Evil 8 and it will be until after its release that the next remake, supposedly Resident Evil 4, will be presented. There is information that indicates, in terms of the franchise remakes, that the fourth installment will be the largest and most ambitious.
