Asus has launched its third gaming smartphone the new Asus ROG Phone 3 in India. The new phone looks almost the same as Asus ROG Phone 2 launched last year. But the new ROG Phone 3 now comes with some upgraded hardware specs to meat hardcore mobile gamers need. The Asus ROG Phone 3 is priced in India at Rs. 49,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. While the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 57,999.
The Asus ROG Phone 3 smartphone will go on sale in India through Flipkart starting August 6 at 12am IST.
The Asus ROG Phone 3 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ coupled with Adreno 650 GPU, 6.59-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of onboard UFS 3.1 storage.
The display has 144Hz refresh rate, 270Hz touch sampling rate, and HDR10+ support with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. You also get dual, front-facing speakers powered by ROG GameFX and Dirac HD Sound technologies. The ROG Phone 3 also packs a powerful 6,000mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging over a dual USB Type-C port. There is also an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor on the phone with AirTrigger 3 and grip press features.
The ROG Phone 3 also features side charging over a secondary USB Type-C port placed on the side of the phone. This will allow you to keep charging your phone while you are gaming using the landscape mode.
Asus ROG Phone 3 sports an upgraded triple rear camera setup over the dual 48MP camera on the ROG Phone 2, that houses a 64MP main (Sony IMX686) Wide Camera + 13MP Ultrawide Camera and a 5MP Macro Camera. The rear camera features include pro video recording mode and 4K video recording support.
The ROG Phone 3 also has a 24-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front that is also capable of recording up to 1080p videos.
