Oppo has launched a new Oppo A72 5G smartphone in China. To recall, a 4G variant of the same device was launched last month and now Oppo has officially launched its 5G variant called the Oppo A72 5G. The new phone looks identical to the 4G variant but has a slight difference in the hardware and specifications.
Oppo A72 5G Specifications
The Oppo A72 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC that supports 5G, While, the 4G variant comes powered by the Snapdragon 665 SoC. The phone runs on ColorOS 7.2 that is coupled with 8GB of RAM coupled with 128GB of storage. The phone features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) display with 90.5 percent screen to body ratio and 90Hz refresh rate.
On the camera side, the new Oppo A72 5G sports a triple rear camera setup including a main 16MP sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel black and white camera. Upfront, there is a 16-megapixel hole-punch selfie camera. The rear camera setup has a square shape camera bump.
The phone comes with a slightly small 4,040mAh battery as compared to the 5,000mAh in the 4G variant. The Good is that the phone supports 18W fast charging so your battery will get fueled very quickly.
Oppo A72 5G Price
Oppo has launched only a single 8GB RAM and 128GB variant of its Oppo A72 5G smartphone that is priced at CNY 1,899 (roughly Rs. 20,200). The comes in three colour options namely, Neon, Oxygen Violet, and Simple Black. Oppo A72 5G is now also available for pre-order through the official Oppo China website.
