Xiaomi has started rolling out the MIUI 12 stable beta update for the Redmi Note 9 global version. The latest update for the device comes with build number “V12.0.2.0.QJOMIXM“, and weighs in at 507 MB in size.
Please note, that the stable beta MIUI 12 update is currently rolling to a small number of users (beta testers) globally and will reach out to every Redmi Note 9 device in the coming days if no bugs are found. To recall, the Xiaomi pushed the latest MIUI 12 stable beta update for the Redmi Note 9 in China. Now, it has started the roll out globally.

Xiaomi rolled out the MIUI 12 stable update for Redmi K20, K20 Pro, Mi 9, Mi 9T, and Mi 9T Pro global variant earlier this month as part of the first round of the update that started in June 2020. Notably, Xiaomi with Redmi Note 9 has kicked off the second round of the MIUI 12 update that will also be available to more Xiaomi devices in the coming weeks.
The interesting thing is that the Redmi Note 9 which runs on a Mediatek processor has started receiving the stable MIUI 12 update while the Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, and Redmi Note 9S that runs Snapdragon 720G SoC, are yet to start getting the update.
