Google Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a 5G Launched, Check Out the Price, Specs, and India Availability Date

Google today officially launched its most affordable Google Pixel 4a and Pixel 4a (5G) smartphone in the US. The highlight of the new Pixel 4a includes a single camera at both the front and back sides. The rear camera has a Titan M security module, while the front is a hole-punch selfie camera.

The phone also has a 3.5mm headphone jack as well as a rear-mounted circled fingerprint sensor. To recall, the new Pixel 4a comes as a successor to the Pixel 3a. Let’s check out the price, specifications, and Pixel 4a India availability and more.

Pixel 4a Price and Availability in India

Pixel 4a is priced at $349 (roughly Rs. 26,300) for the single 6GB + 128GB variant. The phone will initially be available in the US starting August 20 via Google Store, BestBuy.com, Amazon and other stores in the country. The phone is now up for pre-order via the Google Store and on Google Fi.

India Availability

Google Pixel 4a in India will be available especially via Flipkart starting this October 2020. Google has not announced the India price for the Google Pixel 4a yet. Notably, Pixel 4a comes only in a single Jet Black colour option.

Pixel 4a 5G

Google has also launched a 5G variant of Pixel 4a that is priced at $499 in the US. The Pixel 4a 5G comes with a slightly bigger display and as the biggest highlight supports 5G connectivity. Unfortunately, the Pixel 4a 5G won’t come to India as it’s only limited to countries where 5G connectivity is available.

Google Pixel 4a Specifications

The new Google Pixel 4a has a 5.81-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,340 pixels) OLED always-on display with HDR support. The phone runs on the latest Android 10 out of the box and has 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC and has a 3,140mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. The phone also features Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC and USB Type-C port.

The Camera

Google Pixel 4a sports a single 12MP camera at the rear with an f/1.7 lens and an LED flash. The rear camera features auto-focus with dual-pixel phase detection, Optical + electronic image stabilisation, 77° field of view and 1.4 μm pixel width.

The phone has an 8 MP wide-angle camera with f/2.0, fixed focus lens. The rear camera features include Night Sight, Top Shot, Portrait mode, HDR+.
