Nintendo Switch Pro Version To Release in 2021, According to Reports

Since the day of its launch, which took place on March 3, 2017, Nintendo Switch has been the subject of some criticisms – more or less founded – on its alleged inferiority, in terms of performance, compared to other videogame platforms such as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

For this reason, over time, more and more rumours have been chased about the launch of a new version of the hybrid console of the Big N, able to fill the gap that separates it from other gaming systems.

Already yesterday it was interesting to examine the news reported by the reporters of the Economic Daily News of Taipei regarding a future announcement by Nintendo on Nintendo Switch Pro, which should be expected to arrive in 2021.

Bloomberg thinks today to reinforce these rumours and increases the dose. The well-known news agency has, in fact, stated that Nintendo would be willing to launch a new version of Nintendo Switch on the market over the next year, which should bring significant improvements in performance compared to the previous model, currently on the market.

Nintendo would intend to focus on an important increase in terms of power as regards to the processor and support for 4K graphics resolution. Bloomberg also reports as the line-up for 2021, Nintendo will be characterized by the presence of games able to exploit the features and the greater power of the new version, released both by the Japanese company itself and by third-party developers.

For this reason, again according to the agency, we should expect a small number of announcements during this year.

As usual, Nintendo has decided not to comment on these rumours. A similar situation had already occurred in the past before the announcement of Nintendo Switch Lite and for this reason, we just have to wait for any official announcements from the Big N regarding the launch of an updated version of its flagship console.
