According to a recent report from Bloomberg, Sony Interactive Entertainment already has other great news about the next generation of PlayStation in its hand. As Bloomberg reports, citing a source that is familiar with the group’s plans and wants to remain anonymous for understandable reasons, Sony Interactive Entertainment is planning to make a big announcement about the PS5 later this month.
The optimists among the players naturally speculated quickly about the possible unveiling of the final date and the price of the two PS5 models. Since concrete details and an official statement on this topic is still to be expected, we should be able to put our expectations in a healthy frame first.
“An official at the PlayStation unit, who asked not to be identified because the plan is not yet public, said Sony’s next announcement regarding the PlayStation 5 is tentatively scheduled for this month,” said Bloomberg.
PlayStation 5 will appear in this year’s Christmas season. In recent days, several French retailers have given the console a price and indicated that the classic version should be offered for 499 euros, while the price of the digital-only version should be 399 euros. So far, however, this information has not been officially confirmed.
