The next rumour comes for the DualSense controller. Images that appeared on Twitter could show a significantly increased battery capacity. But does the PS5 DualSense Wireless Controller last longer?
On Twitter, a user who claims to be working for an accessories company put various pictures into circulation that are supposed to show the PS5 controller. It is interesting that the battery capacity of the DualSense is stated as 1560mA on the label shown.
For comparison, the DualShock 4 of the PS4 currently has a battery capacity of 1000mA, which leads to a game time of between 4 and 7 hours depending on use. In the course of the market launch, the DualShock 4 even had to make do with 800mA.
Let’s assume that today’s leak has something to do with reality. Does the increase in battery capacity mean that the DualSense will last longer? Not necessarily. The PS5 controller has a number of new features like haptic feedback and adaptive triggers that could potentially negate the extra capacity.
hands on #PS5 controller #Dualsense5 , just got a short test on it. The battery capacity is 1560mA, much more than the PS4 one. pic.twitter.com/bS0wako69J

Sony has not yet given any information on the battery capacity of the PS5 controller. The company just emphasized that ways of maintaining a long battery life have been considered.
It is still unclear when exactly the PS5 and the DualSense controller will be launched. A launch in November would be conceivable. This is a period that Microsoft has confirmed for the Xbox Series X yesterday.
