Xiaomi today launched its new Redmi 9 device in India. The new Redmi 9 comes with MIUI 12 out of the box, among other features of the device. Redmi 9 features a 6.53 HD+ LCD Display, with a 20:9 aspect ratio, that’s a slightly bigger display than the Redmi 8. The phone is powered by an Helio G35 SoC coupled with 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB ram and storage options.
Redmi 9 comes with a triple rear camera setup including a 13MP Main Camera, a 2MP depth sensor and a 5MP Selfie camera. The camera features include are AI scene detection, AI selfie and Portrait selfie mode. The new Redmi 9 also has a powerful large 5000mAh battery that comes with 380V charger in the box.
Price and Availability
The Redmi 9 price in India for the 4GB/64GB variant is set at Rs 8,999, while the 4GB/128GB variant is priced Rs 9,999. Redmi 9 will go on the first sale in India starting next Monday, 31st Aug at 12 noon from Mi.com, Amazon, Mi Home and Mi Studio stores.
The phone will be available in three colours options Sporty Orange, SkyBlue and Carbon Black. The phone will soon also be available across all retail stores in the country.
