The Suicide of Rachel Foster was originally due to be released for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on August 26. As Daedalic Entertainment admits, the console release will be delayed to the next month at short notice.
Last week Daedalic Entertainment and the developers of One-O-One Games announced The Suicide of Rachel Foster for the consoles as well. Originally, the narrative first-person adventure was supposed to be released this Wednesday for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
As officially admitted, this plan will unfortunately not work because the console version of The Suicide of Rachel Foster had to be postponed at short notice. September 9, 2020 has been announced as the new release date for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
The Suicide of Rachel Foster is officially described as an exciting thriller that tells the story of the young woman Nicole. Following her mother’s last wish, she investigates the dark history of her family. While she unravels the secrets of the suicide of the teenager Rachel, Nicole is snowed in on the lonely mountain and has to explore the abandoned hotel of her family.
She knows that her father played a role in Rachel’s story and, with the support of a young FEMA agent, sets out to uncover the truth once and for all, as the makers of One-O-One Games suggest.
According to official information, the story of The Suicide of Rachel Foster promises a multi-layered plot that combines elements of thrillers, horror and the mystery genre.
