After all the hype, speculations and rumours WB Montreal at DC FanDome finally announced the next game in the long-running Batman series called Gotham Knights. The game follows the highly popular Batman: Arkham video game series and brings a new chapter for Gotham City.
Gotham Knights will launch for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC in 2021 featuring four family members of the bat family including Robin, Batgirl, Red Hood, and Nightwing.
WB Montreal has also confirmed that Gotham Knights will feature two-player online co-op and single players story campaign. The dev has also released 7 minutes of Gotham Knights gameplay trailer that shows off all the four heroes from the bat family live in action.
The trailer showcases some of the game combat systems and the unique abilities of each hero bring to the table. In the trailer below you can see the Batgirl riding a Batcycle towards Mister Freeze’s fortress. Court of Owls is also confirmed and the videos demo show the final boss fight against Mister Freeze.
