A new report suggests that WB Montreal may announce a new Batman game at the DC FanDome on August 22, 2020. The latest report comes straight from Jason Schreier, a trusted insider of the video game industry. According to Schreier, WB Montreal was working on a Suicide Squad game on behalf of Rocksteady. But due to an unknown reason, the game got cancelled in 2016, or 2017.
Since then the next Suicide Squad project has been in the hands of Rocksteady studio who recently confirmed the next Suicide Squad game to be revealed at FanDome 2020 on August 22. According to Schreier, Rocksteady is expected to present a short teaser of the next Suicide Squad game, but one shouldn” expect a fully detailed reveal trailer.

Further, while replying to a users comment on twitter, Jason Schreier replied that he believes that WB Montreal may also reveal its new Batman series game, which is rumoured to be based on the Courts of Owl comic series.
Yeah, they were doing a Damian Wayne Batman game but then that was canceled/rebooted as well. WB Montreal’s new Batman game should also be at DC Fandome

What Schreier believe might be true, as WB Montreal has been in the rumour to be working on a new Batman game. Back in last year, WB Montreal shared a short teaser on its official Twitter account using a caption which reads, “Capture the Knight.” clearly referring to a new Batman game.
