Before the launch of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, a demo will be published that has a small catch: Those who pre-order the digital version can access it.
If you want to test Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time before the official launch, you can download a demo beforehand. However, the playable version announced yesterday has a catch. Only those who pre-order the digital version get access to it, which basically nullifies the sense of a demo. Immediate payment is indicated in the PlayStation Store.
The demo of Crash Bandicoot 4 is to be released on September 16, 2020. After the start, you can test a few levels from the middle of the game. These include the game sections “Snow way out” (snowed in) and “Dino Dash” (dinosaur spurt). You also get the opportunity to experience things from a completely different perspective – from the point of view of Dr. Neo Cortex in an alternative timeline from “Snowed In.”
As a rule, demos are published in order to convince potential buyers of the qualities of a game so that they can then initiate the purchase of the respective game. In the case of Crash Bandicoot 4, interested parties first have to pre-order, can then test the game using the demo content and then have to apply for a cancellation if they don’t like what is shown.
Another character from Crash Bandicoot 4 could already be seen yesterday. This is the series veteran Tawna, the Crash in Crash Bandicoot 1 from the clutches of Dr. Cortex. A gameplay video of the same character can be seen below.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will be launched on October 2, 2020, for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
