Marvel’s Avengers Microtransactions Pricing Detailed

Marvel’s Avengers gives you the opportunity to purchase additional cosmetic contents through microtransactions. We’ll tell you how deep you have to dig into your pocket.

Even if the official release is not scheduled for the end of the week, the servers for the action title Marvel’s Avengers went online today. So should you have enjoyed your copy a little earlier, you can get started now.

As announced in the official announcement, you will get the opportunity in Marvel’s Avengers to purchase additional cosmetic extras through microtransactions. The corresponding credit packages can now be purchased from the PlayStation Store.

But how deep do you have to dig into your pocket? You can answer this question by looking at the following list, which lists all four versions of the credit packages including their prices.

Marvel’s Avengers Microtransactions Pricing Detailed

  • 500 Credits: $7.45 AUD
  • 2,000 Credits (plus 200 bonus Credits): $29.95 AUD
  • 5,000 Credits (plus 1,000 bonus Credits): $ 79.95 AUD
  • 10,000 Credits (plus 3,000 bonus Credits): $149.95 AUD

What does it all mean in practice now? Well, that depends on what kind of extras you want to purchase. A rare emote, for example, is available for 250 credits or the equivalent of just under 2.50 euros, while a new standard outfit usually costs 700 credits. In the case of legendary outfits, the price can rise to 1,400 credits or almost 14 euros.

However, the credits can also be earned in the game itself. 1,300 credits are waiting for you for each of the six launched characters that you upgrade to the maximum level. But it goes without saying that you should plan a lot of playing time and, above all, grinding here.

Marvel’s Avengers will release on Friday, September 4th, 2020 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Implementations for the two next-generation consoles of Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 will also follow at a later date.
