After the presentation of the Ryzen 5000 CPU series with Zen 3 architecture in early October, AMD finally officially presented the new range of Radeon RX 6000 GPUs with RDNA 2 architecture, seen in detail during today’s live stream that you can check at the bottom of this news.
For this series of graphics cards, the company has already confirmed that the units arriving on the market will be many, so users can be calm regarding availability. The Radeon RX 6000 GPUs announced today are as follows:
The Radeon RX 6800 and 6800 XT GPUs are expected to launch on November 18th, while the 6900 XT will hit the market on December 8th. To clarify the rivalries between AMD and NVIDIA, the RX 6800 XT will go against the RTX 3080; the RX 6800 will compete with the RTX 3070; finally, the Radeon RX 6900 XT will go up against the giant RTX 3090.
There are also various interesting features such as Rage Mode, to allow anyone to overclock their graphics card with a single click through the AMD Radeon Adrenalin driver software; or, the “Smart Access Memory” to improve performance especially in-game.
