Bravely Default 2 and Doom Eternal for Nintendo Switch Could Release in 2021, According To a Retailer Listing

Through a tweet, the Twitter user So_Ethereal pointed out that Austrian retailer Gameware has set new launch windows on its site for the Nintendo Switch versions of the highly anticipated Bravely Default 2 and Doom Eternal, and it seems there are no good news.

As you can see from the images at the bottom of the news, the Gameware site has updated the pages dedicated to Bravely Default 2 and Doom Eternal for Nintendo Switch, revealing that both games will be available on the hybrid console of the Kyoto console not during 2020, but next year, in 2021.

To be more precise, the only game that has an even more determined launch window is Doom Eternal, which apparently would have slipped from 2020 to the second quarter of 2021.

If we consider that for id Software the port is very close and that the pandemic has had an impact on development, and therefore this possible exit looks actually very likely. If the game was supposed to come out this year, an announcement would have already arrived or will arrive very soon.

The same goes for Bravely Default 2, which in September was classified in Australia, suggesting that Team Asano was already ready for the release of the title. It is not excluded that the postponement may be limited to the beginning of 2021; therefore we cannot completely rule out this sighting.
